RECESSION
Asalam alaikum.
*What is Recession to a muslim? Recession is a period when trade and industry are not successful witha lot of unemployment. What does Allah say in the Quran "we shall certainly test you with fear and hunger and loss of property, lives and crops. Give good news to those who endure with fortitude, those who say, when afflicted with calamity, we belong to God and to Him we shall all return"( Baqara 155:156). Is Recession a calamity? Yes, Recession is a calamity. What does prophet do when there is calamity? The Prophet(saw) prays AlQunut when any calamity befall. The Prophet says Du'a is the sword of a believer, let's use this sword to fight this calamity (Recession), many are dying of hunger and malnutrition , people are dying due to illness no money to buy drugs, goods are becoming expensive life is becoming hard for us the only way out is prayer which is AlQunut. Pls share this message to all islamic groups pls Let us enjoin our imams to start observing alqunut now.*

How to inspire manners to your children 👶🏻
1. When entering the house greet your children with salams and kisses. This should help develop their sense of love and mercy.
2. Be good to your neighbours and never backbite. Never speak ill of other drivers when on the road. Your children listen, absorb and emulate.
3. When calling your parents, encourage your children to speak to them. When visiting your parents take your children with you. The more they see you take care of your parents the more they will learn to take care of you.
4. When driving them say to school, don't always play albums or cds (even if my cds!). Rather, tell them the stories yourself. This will have a greater impact - trust me!
5. Read to them a short hadith a day – it doesn't take much time, but very impactful in creating strong bonds and wonderful memories.
6. Comb your hair, clean your teeth and wear presentable cloths even if sitting at home and not going out for the day. They need to learn that being clean and tidy has nothing to do with going out!
7. Try not to blame or comment on every word or action they say or do. Learn to overlook and let go sometimes. This certainly builds their self-confidence.
8. Ask your children's permission before entering their rooms. Don't just knock and enter, but then wait for a verbal permission. They will learn to do the same when wanting to enter your room.
9. Apologize to your children if you made a mistake. Apologizing teaches them to be humble and polite.
10. Don't be sarcastic or make fun of their views or feelings, even if you "didn't mean it" and was "only joking". It really hurts.
11. Show respect to your children's privacy. Its important for their sense of value and self-esteem.
12. Don't expect that they will listen or understand the first time. Don't take it personally. Muhammad ﷺ never did. But be patient and consistent.

TODAYS REMAINDER
TODAYS REMINDER: *WHILST IN THE TOMB*
By: Umm ABDILLAH
Muharram 17, 1438 (19-October-2016)
The fact that a person died doesn’t necessarily indicates his soul is finally dead. It rather implies the soul leaves the body to continue its existence in the minor or individual hereafter, whether for punishment (or enjoyment). It was reported the Prophet (SallaLlahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam) said: *“Whoever dies, his _Qiyamah_ (i.e. Resurrection in the grave) has come unto him.”* Hence, whoever disbelieves in the punishment (and enjoyment) of the grave has rightly not believed and he is actually not from the people of _Sunnah_ (i.e. Islam). More so, this matter points some things to us, like; the grave (itself), existence (after death) at _Al-Barzakh_ (which is the interface between this world and the major hereafter) and the punishment (or enjoyment) in it.
Then, we should know that, the single cause of punishment in the grave is evil deeds (i.e. sins). Allah says of Fir’aun and his people (regarding the punishment they are presently experiencing before the major hereafter): *“The Fire; they are exposed to it, morning and afternoon, and on the Day when the Hour will be established (it will be said to the angel): Cause the people Fir’aun to enter the severest torment.”* [Surah Al-Ghafir (40): 46] Therefore, let’s be careful of our actions since our existence stop not at this world; we still have the grave (minor hereafter) and the major hereafter. I beseech Allah to save us from His Torment. (Aameen)

Tomorrow is the 9th of Muharram, a good day to fast along with the 10th, 'Aashooraa, in commemoration of Allah's victory which He promises the believers at the times of apparent loss, and according to the recommendation of the Last Prophet (pbuh) in order to purify ourselves of the previous year's sins, if our fasts are accepted.

Allah SWT says : "From it (dust) We created you, into it We will return you & from it We will extract you." (Q 20:55). Alhamdulilah its Friday. Don't forget to read kahf today..

LETTER TO THE MOTHERS
*Dear Mother*,
Please, stop teaching your daughter that it's her job to fix her man! Who will fix her, when she is busy fixing another?
Mummy, stop telling her that she's the home builder! Tell her that she will work hand in hand with her husband to build her home.
Mummy, stop telling her that she's the home builder! Tell her that she will work hand in hand with her husband to build her home.
Our society today is littered with over-burdened wives, mothers, sisters and daughters. They are wearied, they are stressed and drained, from having to
fix themselves and as well fix an adult who ought to be fixing himself and fixing things around the house.
fix themselves and as well fix an adult who ought to be fixing himself and fixing things around the house.
Look around you, you've succeeded in raising strong daughters and weak sons.... Sons who grew to become nonchalant men, men who rather feast while the women work.
Ma'am, teach your son that it's his job to provide for his family, totally, exclusively, that way, he won't expect his woman to share family responsibilities with him.
When such expectations aren't there, he will very much appreciate any input she makes.
When such expectations aren't there, he will very much appreciate any input she makes.
Teach your son that he's the sole protector of his home, that will make him not run off to chase pleasure with the idea that "my wife will handle it".
Mama, teach your son that loving his wife is a daily affair, and he must make her feel loved, in every sense of the word....
Dad, make your son understand that he's not done anything for his children, until he loves their mother fully.
Papa, raise your son, by loving his mother purely... When he sees you doing it right, he will do it more right in his marriage.
Daddie, teach your son never to depend on a woman. That way, he will never look at a woman as his support, he will put in all his best to be there for his family.
Mom and Dad, raise your sons, to be the picture of the husbands you desire for your daughters!

You don hear am?
You don hear?
Inside the explanation of Riyadus saaliheen wey our correct and confirmed Shaykh and Faqeeh Muhammad Saalih Al Uthaymeen RahimahuLlaah do, the Shaykh talk say "When Allaah loves an action, He go also love the bobo wey dey run am".
So as a matter of necessity, i wan use this medium to encourage and ginger my brothers with my sisters dem say this life wey we dey so, no be for us to dey shine eye like goat wey lick groundnut oil, rather make we wey dey arrange time to dey knack small small eebaadah, make we dey try do small small good things.
E get one confirm hadith wey anytime I dey reason am, e dey make belle dey sweet me tuelely as in ehn e make brain , infact the hadith enter class.
The hadith was collected by Imaam Bukhaariy RahimahuLlaah, even Imaam Muslim join collect the hadith, that is to say the hadith na ogbonge as in e authentic like say tomorrow no dey.... for the hadith the Prophet salallaahu alayhi was salaam talk say "there are two words wey Allaah the beneficent love well well, this two words light for tongue but dey get weight on meezan(scale of deeds)... the two statements na "subhanaLlaahi wa bihamdihi and subhanaLlaahi al adheem".
So even if na chenkele deeds like this we get power for, nothing spoil if we fit dey run am consistently e make sense because as you see Al-jannah so, na must to enter am o, no just reason carry last... although shaytan no go like let us see road but remember say e no get level.
so no belittle any good deed... to get Al jannah, All join (big and small).
As my warri people go yarn am say: at all at all na winch market!
may Allaah give us strength to dey do eebaadah and make He give us sincerity inside the small small ones wey we dey do.
Aameen.
