RECESSION

Asalam alaikum.

*What is Recession to a muslim? Recession is a period when trade and industry are not successful witha lot of unemployment. What does Allah say in the Quran "we shall certainly test you with fear and hunger and loss of property, lives and crops. Give good news to those who endure with fortitude, those who say, when afflicted with calamity, we belong to God and to Him we shall all return"( Baqara 155:156). Is Recession a calamity? Yes, Recession is a calamity. What does prophet do when there is calamity? The Prophet(saw) prays AlQunut when any calamity befall.The Prophet says Du'a is the sword of a believer, let's use this sword to fight this calamity (Recession), many are dying of hunger and malnutrition , people are dying due to illness no money to buy drugs, goods are becoming expensive life is becoming hard for us the only way out is prayer which is AlQunut.
